brightStar Networks Ltd supply, install and commission Structured cabling systems, including Cat7, Cat6 & Cat5e, and keep up to date with the 'next generation'cabling requirements, through ongoing commitment and training.
Whether a small classroom is needed to be cabled, or one of Europe's largest data centres, brightStar employees have the experience to
hand-over the project not only fit for purpose, but take pride in the aesthetics too. Combining aesthetics with 'on-time completion' is a habit of ours that ensures repeat business, and very happy clients.
The engineers at brightStar Networks provide cabling services for Wireless Access, and to date, have installed well over 1000 WAP's (Wireless Access Points). We work closely with the manufacturers, to ensure every area of the building is covered, providing excellent coverage for the users.
We also provide Fibre Optic solutions, whether linking up multiple cabinets in Data Centres, or linking up offices/buildings from a greater distance using Singlemode or Multimode fibre to suit. The required Test results are always provided after installation.
brightStar Networks can also supply and install containment for the cabling. Basket tray or trunking (metal or plastic) can be added to new,
or existing.
With both copper structured cabling and fibre optic services, full test results are provided upon completion of installation. We believe that an
installation is only 100% complete, once the test results have been given either by hand, or electronically to our client, on time.
Having over 20 years experience in the telecoms sector, we have been able to partner with other specialists, including companies
who specialise solely in Data Centre/Comms room design & build. If any design or planning is required in that area, we will be very happy to put you in touch with our partners, again, ensuring that the values and first class service of brightStar Networks Limited are kept at all times. |

| Structured cabling |
Structured cabling can also be known as Data Cabling, IT Cabling, Network Cabling & Computer cabling. The Structured cabling is installed within the offices of an organisation where network connectivity is required. Each user will have at least one dedicated cable that runs from their desk position, all the way back to the local communications room. Wireless outlets can also be installed, allowing mobile users to connect to the network too.
The structured cabling can be linked up to many other communications rooms within the offices, and also other buildings. In this scenario, brightStar Networks link these areas using fibre optic cabling.
Fibre optic cabling is a technology that uses glass (or plastic) fibres to transmit data. A fibre optic cable consists of a bundle of glass threads, each of which is capable of transmitting messages modulated onto light waves.
Fibre optic cables have a much greater bandwidth than copper cabling. This means that they can carry more data. Fibre optic cabling is less susceptible than copper cabling to interference, and is much thinner and lighter than copper cabling too.
